New CCSD Facilities Tour for the 2016-2017 School Year

Who: Media outlets are welcomed and encouraged to join us for a press tour of the new CCSD facilities opening in the 2016-2017 school year.

What: Tour of four new CCSD school facilities. CCSD staff, administrators, and representatives from Cumming will be available for questions at each location. A Durham School Services representative will also be at Chicora to discuss bus transportation for the upcoming year. See the attached school factsheets for each location in the showcase to learn more.

When: Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

   9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.    Burke Culinary Arts CTE

   9:40 a.m. – 10:20 a.m. James Simons Elementary

 10:30 a.m. – 11:10 a.m.  Chicora Elementary

 11:45 a.m. – 12:25 p.m.  Springfield Elementary
