CCSD Schools and Offices to Close Friday, September 2, 2016
Charleston, SC — Charleston County School District, with the exception of essential personnel, will be closed tomorrow, Friday, September 2 due to the predicted forecast and conditions of Tropical Storm Hermine.
This means all schools and offices will be closed tomorrow.
This is a decision CCSD does not take lightly, but in an effort to guarantee the safety of our students and staff, this is the decision we have made.
We will send another release shortly explaining our rationale behind this decision and information concerning a make-up day.
CCSD events scheduled for tonight are not affected by this announcement, and will continue as scheduled.
