CCSD Enrollment Tops 50,000 in First Seven Days
Charleston, SC — Tuesday, August 23, 2016 marked the seventh day of the 2016-2017 school year and a two-decade high for student enrollment in Charleston County School District (CCSD), topping out at just over 50,000 students.
The 50,203 student count includes all K-12 schools, CCSD-sponsored charter schools, special education programs, Early Head Start, Head Start, and Child Development.
