CCSD & The Prevention Tip Line

Prevention Tip Line: 1-877-250-2790

Prevention Tip LineCharleston County School District (CCSD) employs a variety of programs, incentives, and tools to keep school communities safe. One new addition, the Prevention Tip Line, is a toll-free telephone service that allows students, parents and members of the community to anonymously report a problem observed in a CCSD school.

When an individual calls the Tip Line, he or she has two options:

pressing 1 for incidents involving

  • possession of a weapon by a student, parent, or community member on school property,
  • fighting,
  • gang activity,
  • theft, or
  • vandalism;

pressing 2 for problems associated with

  • bullying,
  • abuse,
  • harassment, or
  • use/possession of tobacco, alcohol or drugs on school property.

The Tip Line calls get immediate attention and in all cases, the anonymity of the caller is protected.

Call the Prevention Tip Line any time (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) at 1-877-250-2790.
